thorpe park review

In this review, I will be talking about how IT is very important in theme park.

Our lasts visit to Thorpe was amazing because Thorpe Park had many scary and cool rides. There was a workshop that gave us information on how IT is used in theme parks. Thorpe Park is one of the theme parks in UK. Not only the rides are important in a theme park, but IT is also very important because without IT, the rides wouldn’t have started and stopped.
As a ride is first thought of, its shape, design, colour speed and height are all planned on a computer with the help of much good IT software. The IT software gives an idea on how the ride will look in real life and also helps design the rollercoaster. Also the Thorpe parks website has been created on a computer with the help of IT software (one of the IT software is called draw plus to design websites).

Stealth is one of the tallest and fastest rides in Thorpe Park and in UK. Because stealth is tall, at first it was hard for the coaster to go straight up and over the loop and then back down. It only went to the top and came back down. It wasn’t harmful and people liked it but, it was done by accident. This happened because when the coaster had light people on it, it was easy for the ride to continue, but when it had heavy people on it, it was hard to take them over and came back down. Now, with the help of IT, stealth give everyone a complete shock and entertains by completing the ride no matter how heavy and light the people are.

If there wasn’t IT, then the ride wouldn’t have stopped and started.it controls the brakes on the roller coaster that slows down the coaster when it’s needed. The brakes work with sensors that work by IT.

Swarm is one of the fastest rides in Thorpe Park. At first, swarm didn’t had a slow stop so it gave people neck ace. Now the brakes (working by IT) gives swarm a slow stop and making our stomach go upside down.

So overall IT is very important in theme parks because everything works with information technology. Without IT there would have been rides and without rides. No theme park to entertain us.
