BTEC Students explore the V & A!

BTEC trip V & A

Our BTEC class went to visit the V & A on Friday 15th June. The clock hit 11am and we the class then met up at Barking station. I think Miss Guzman Rodriguez was actually more excited to attend the trip to the V & A than the BTEC Students.  Miss Guzman Rodriguez arrived in style with her white jeans, blue top ,white converses and her typical fluffy hair. The BTEC Class fell in love with Miss Guzman Rodriguez brooch which was of a goose’s foot with a dazzling diamond in the middle of it. It was very unique. Kash was in love with it.

We continued and went underground and got onto the train. We then began to talk about how excited we all were. Dan was very relaxed on the train. The train was a journey to heaven. We all sat and talked as a class for once we felt stress free in our lives. For once we could forget about all that coursework and relax for a bit.  All our class mates were talking to each other.  However we all missed James Marshall and Muna Aziz as they could not make it.

Finally, the clock hit 12 and we then walked down the streets of South Kensington.  Ash and Kash then put on American accents and become American for the day.The doors of Heaven opened. We were left speechless. We was finally in the Museum. It was a great day. Our class was fascinated by the spun chairs. The class then was shown around the museum. Kash was amazed the crowns which once belonged to the Kings. Students then went off to fill there questionnaires in. Ash & Kash were escorting people in to the lift whilst smiling and waving at everyone wishing them a good day! The museum was filled with different cultures and history. Jaseera and Sharmin were very motivated to finish the questionnaire.
Whilst Azim, Abdullah and Toby cheated and asked the staff members for the answers instead. We know this as Kash and Ash were spies for the day and witnessed this horror with our own eyes.

We then was escorted to the garden were we had a picnic with the class. The prices were extremely high 6 pounds for 1 sandwich.  Azim, Abdullah and Toby then went off to purchase some lunch in McDonalds.
The rest of the class then went to Scoops and bought some ice-cream. The BTEC class was extremely in love with the free samples of brownies. The brownie tray was full when we entered the shop. The tray contained free samples of brownies and lemon cake. Customers could taste one piece but our class clearly did not leave any for other customers. BTEC students ate all of the free samples (no names mentioned) and half the class walked out the shop as they were to full to eat anymore with their bellies full of free brownies. The milkshakes were delightful. Who ever knew that raspberry and coconut would form such a great shake!
We then walked back to the station safely. We were about to get on the then train when we discovered the disappearance of Azim, Abdullah and Toby. However, Miss Guzman-Rodriguez then rescued them and got them into the station safely.
I never did get Miss Guzman Rodriguez’s brooch L
